How to have successful projects.

Start-up

Our software includes a collection of project frameworks, not static templates, that guide your projects from start to finish.

These frameworks provide project solution workflows and guidance crafted by domain experts based on industry best practices. They can be customized to fit the unique needs of your projects.

By following these frameworks, you can ensure consistency, save time, and avoid the pitfalls of starting from scratch.

Project Mgt.

Jared helps you navigate through the complexities of project management, providing insights and suggestions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Team

Your team can be your biggest benefit, it can also be your biggest risk.

Follow and tailor the items regarding the team that are in the preloaded project plan.

Best practice is to establish team norms, review often, and trust but verify.

Ensure all team members have access to your project and are familiar withh the PA features. â€‹

Stakeholders

Typical stakeholders may include the sponsor, project manager, team members, management team, impacted or involved departments, end users, customers, suppliers, vendors, local community, regulatory bodies, government entities.

Each stakeholder usually has unique needs and some may only be invoved during certain portions of the project.

Tailor the stakeholder preloaded items in the project plan for your needs and review and update ofte,

Deliverables

Projects are organized using a best-practice hierarchical, card-oriented, drag-and-drop system with deliverables, work packages, and tasks.

The three-level structure allows you to break down projects into manageable parts, ensuring that no detail is overlooked.

This feature simplifies task assignment and reorganization, making it easy to view and brainstorm the entire project, adapt to changing project needs and keep your team on track.

Schedule
Group 42104.png

Scheduling tasks has never been easier with our drag-and-drop calendar. Assign tasks to specific work periods, track progress, and ensure that all deadlines are met.

This feature helps you maintain an organized project timeline and allows for quick adjustments as needed, ensuring timely project completion.

All projects have some amount of risk.

Assumptions drive risk. What's being assumed and not verified is a risk. Record assumptions. Observe what's stated and implied. Observe body language and tonality when updates are shared.

Validate assumptions. Diminish ego and ask seemingly dumb questions. Verify key information by asking, even though you believe you may already know the answer.

Use the risk assessment tool included in all of our solution workflow project plans. Record potential risk items, determine their impact 1 to 5, and estimate the probability percentage. The sheet will do the math. Develop contingency plans for the high scores.

You can not over-communicate your projects.

Projects create change. Communicating what will and will not change is crucial. By communicating often, you can reduce surprises and expand understanding, commitment, and support for the change.

Communicating change is like planting a garden. Plant seeds into the project environment, nurture, support, reinforce key messages, and appreciate the time delay.

There are two categories to communicate: the project and the solution. The project includes the plans, schedules, work, assignments, status, etc. The solution includes what will be implemented, what will change, and what the new processes, tools, and behaviors will be.

Assignments

Project managers have a drag-and-drop task list to monitor and prioritize team assignments. Individuals prioritize their assignments across all projects using the drag-and-drop My Assignments screen. â€‹

These comprehensive features help individuals prioritize their workload, track progress, and ensure no tasks are overlooked.

By centralizing task management, this enhances personal productivity and ensures timely completion of responsibilities.

By ensuring continuous awareness, smart alerts contribute to the smooth progression and successful completion of projects.

Closure
Group 42106.png

We recommend formally closing all projects. The solution workflow includes an outline to be customized for closing your projects.

Users review and share learnings, identify improvements, update the workflow, and save it as a custom workflow for the next project.

These workflows are shared only with selected team members, ensuring confidentiality and focused collaboration.

This allows organizations to adapt workflows to individual projects, providing flexibility, continuous improvement, and enhancing the efficiency of project execution.
